What is Echoes Of Oz?

Echoes of Oz is an open air live production, which is being run by the company Irregular Arts (

This fantastic 3-day event is an amazing experience for you and all your family, as you see Bradford’s City Park transformed by the magic of Oz.

Follow the winding yellow brick road as it weaves its way through the City Park mirror pool. Visit Dorothy’s House, slide down the sparkling Ruby Slipper Slide but beware of the wicked witch and her flying monkeys…

Live dance shows will be held each afternoon at 1.30pm featuring people local to Bradford. As the daylight fades, each evening at 7pm, City Park will be filled with lights, projections, music, and film as you join Dorothy in each step of her journey to find the way home.

Join in the Echoes Of Oz fun by dressing in the colour of the day!

Friday 9th October 

Yellow ‘I’ve got a feeling we’re not in Bradford any more’

Saturday 10th October 

Green ‘It must be wonderful to live in a city like that’

Sunday 11th October 

Red ‘There’s no place like Bradford’

Other Activities: 

  • Rainbow Bazaar open daily 1-5pm
  • Food stalls open daily 1-8pm
  • Saturday only – Screening of The Wizard Of Oz at Picturehouse at National Media Museum (4pm) – book tickets here
  • National WIs ‘We’re Not In Kansas Any More’ Yarnbomb can be viewed daily in Bradford City Library
